Meet the Founder & CEO

Sabrina St. John is the Founder and CEO of SteriVance, an environmental services company dedicated to helping facilities elevate standards in cleanliness, safety, compliance, and infection prevention. 

Through specialized training and strategic partnerships, she equips environmental services teams to perform at a professional, audit-ready level—redefining the vital role frontline workers play in safety and care.

Sabrina brings a diverse and impactful background in the healthcare industry. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education and a Masters Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. 

This unique combination of clinical environmental services expertise, regulatory safety, training and behavioral science leads to SteriVance’s approach to closing the execution gap in healthcare infection prevention for EVS teams.

In her professional career she held positions as a health educator and preventive specialist, training and development specialist, and non-profit manager.  Sabrina is certified as a Surgical Cleaning Technician Trainer, Custodial Technician Trainer, and an Authorized OSHA General Industry Trainer.

 Each chapter of her professional journey has intentionally prepared her for her role as a founder and leader, shaping the vision behind SteriVance.

 Her mission is to transform the perception of the environmental services and custodial profession—positioning frontline workers as respected and essential members of the healthcare team.

Katrina Munroe, M.A. in Education

Senior Environmental Services Educator

Staff Development Educator, Instructional Coach, Mentor, and Professional Development Facilitator with 21 years of experience in education.

I’m passionate about inspiring both teachers and students to recognize their strengths, believe in their potential, and take meaningful steps toward their goals. I enjoy creating professional learning experiences that feel practical, informative, and relevant.

Outside of education, I am a proud wife and mother of an active toddler who keeps me laughing, learning, and constantly on my toes!

Hasan Lee,  M.A. Ed

Senior Environmental Services Educator

Hasan Lee is a dedicated husband, father, and educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong ability to communicate clearly, connect with diverse groups of people, and create structured, engaging learning environments.

His experience as both a parent and a teacher has reinforced the importance of responsibility, patience, and leading by example—qualities essential to building a culture of safety and accountability in healthcare environments.

Over the years, Hasan has trained and mentored individuals with different learning styles and backgrounds, ensuring they not only understand key information but can apply it confidently in real-life situations. This approach makes him an effective surgical cleaning and safety trainer, with a strong focus on clarity, consistency, and practical understanding.

Cary Mitchell

Quality & Process Improvement Manager

Cary N. Mitchell, a professional in the quality control industry. After sixteen years of managing youth as a math instructor, Cary transitioned to a high profile position with Trade Street Advisors as a financial analyst. He is currently in the Financial Crimes division with Wells Fargo. He has training in Six Sigma Methodology, which has equipped him with advanced skills in process improvement and quality management. His certification has enabled him to lead projects that significantly enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs within his organization. As a devouted man of faith, He is a leader and pillar in his community. He believes in a well- balanced lifestyle that involves lifting others as he is reaches new levels.

Rodney Mitchel

Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager

Rodney plays a key role in helping healthcare EVS teams meet high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. He conducts on-site walkthroughs, performs gap analyses, and supports audit readiness efforts aligned with accreditation requirements.

With firsthand EVS department experience, Rodney understands what it takes to keep facilities clean, safe, and compliant. He works closely with frontline teams to reinforce protocols, improve efficiency, and sustain long-term performance.

Known for his hands-on leadership style, strong communication, and accountability, Rodney is committed to continuous improvement and building high-performing teams. Outside of work, he is a proud father who enjoys spending time with his son.
